As an author and librarian, I’m happy to offer a variety of workshops and classes, both virtual and in person! In person workshops are available within 75 miles of Denver, CO for most of the year or within 25 miles of Clearwater, FL for select dates throughout the year. Other locations will be considered on a case by case basis.

ART CLASSES

BUILDING A WORLD TO LIVE IN

An exploration of strategies in world-building, character-building, and where they meet to create a fully live-in world across all genres. We’ll go over different elements of world-building at both a story-level and line-level, and practice implementing them with interactive prompts.

Available virtually or in person. Available in both 60 minute and 90 minute workshops.

PUBLISHING 101

An overview of the publishing process, from your first draft to getting a literary agent to the journey your book goes on once it’s been acquired by a publisher. Includes a worksheet with common publishing terms and how to structure a query letter. Great for budding authors interested in traditionally publishing their work.

STEP BY STEP PAINTING

A step-by-step painting class where participants will create their very own painting with acrylic on an 8” by 10” canvas. This class is friendly to all skill levels and abilities. Seasonal subjects are available. Please contact for full catalog of subject options, or to request a specific subject.

PAINT POURING

Play with color and motion with paint pouring! Participants will learn the basics of paint pouring and get to experiment with what they’ve learned as well as different color combinations. Participants will get to take home 2-4 paintings depending on the materials used. Available in coasters or wooden magnets.

DROID BUILDING

Mix and match to make your own galactic buddy! Choose from a variety of colors to build your very own felt droid to take on your favorite space adventure. Each droid is backed with cork and a magnet.
